Global Sound Culture

Explore a World of Sound from the Classroom.

Immerse your students in a world of global instruments, diverse sounds, and rich cultures. Global Sound Culture (GSC), is our technology-driven digital music programme, created in partnership with world-class recording studios. Bring global musicians direct to your classroom and diversify your music curriculum.

Supporting the aims of the Model Music Curriculum and NPME, resources are packed with artist interviews, curated playlists, authentic sound samples, and ready-to-use music activities for KS2-5.

GSC also supports teachers with CPD, certificates for student’s achievements and sharing platforms.

  • Main Objectives Tackled

“The Global Sound Culture pack really tackles some of the main objectives of the Model Music Curriculum and the National Plan for Music.”

  • Opportunity to explore instruments

“Great to give the students the opportunity to explore instruments from half way round the world that we otherwise couldn’t provide in school.

From September, we’re planning to use the GSC pack as a central part of our composition project.”
