Prior’s Court: Transforming The Lives Of Children With Autism
PRIOR’S COURT
Enhancing the lives of children with Autism.
6 fluid sessions delivered for students across the day. With engagement levels varying, the workshop was specifically structured to accomodate all levels and needs.
Details
With a set up of 5 CMPSR instruments, students were encouraged to engage with a range of sounds by using the joysticks . By utilising our revolutionary music system Arrownotes®, students were able to make individual musical decisions, interact with each other and enjoy the beauty of performing music.
Many students enjoyed the cause and effect of making sounds with the joystick and exploring a different range of instruments. Some chose very intense bass instruments for the vibrations, whilst others more gentle sounds.
By offering a range of song choices and instruments, students were able to find exactly what they were looking for, further enhancing the experience.
Outcomes
● All students enjoyed making sounds with CMPSR
● Enhanced group engagement with making music with others.
● Made strong musical choices when utilising Arrownotes
● Enjoyed tactile music play with CMPSR – Especially within the sensation of the ‘lower notes’ and through CMPSR’s haptic feedback engine (vibrations).
“Many young people wouldn’t normally be able to interact or choose to so it was very special to see”
